Improving Healthcare Through Genomics – we are proud to collaborate with patients, the public, NHS professionals, and industry to deliver NHS genomics services across the South West.
As one of seven regional genomic medicine services (GMS), we coordinate and deliver NHS genomic testing in line with the National Genomic Test Directory for our region. We deliver NHS genomic testing services for a vast area, covering Bristol, Devon, Cornwall, Gloucester, Somerset, and surrounding areas. We also provide some non-NHS services which you can learn more about here.
For some specialised tests, DNA will be extracted from samples and forwarded to another laboratory in the Genomic Laboratory Hub network.
